To achieve an Advanced CSM, you need to have:
Step 1: Complete training Enroll in the 2-day A-CSM training course offered by a Global Registered Education Provider of Scrum Alliance, such as Centuera. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a welcome email from Scrum Alliance. Step 2. Confirm experience Log into Scrum Alliance, fill out your profile, and agree to the License Agreement. Confirm a minimum of 12 months of Scrum Master experience (within the last five years). Step 3. Achieve Advanced-Certified Scrum Master status! Once your Scrum Master experience is validated, you can immediately download your A-CSM® certification! Congratulations, you are now an Advanced Certified Scrum Master!
No examination is required for the ACSM certification. You only need to complete the 2-day training program and fulfill the eligibility requirements to obtain the certificate.
You must renew your A-CSM certification every two years. The renewal fee is $175, which will extend your credential for an additional two years from the expiration date. Additionally, you are required to obtain 30 Scrum Educational Units (SEUs) within the last two years, alongside the $175 renewal fee. You can acquire the necessary SEUs by participating in educational training or other learning opportunities. Renewing your ACSM certification will also automatically renew all your other Scrum Alliance certifications. To renew your ScrumMaster certification, you need to log in to the Scrum Alliance website.
